Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by Truestone Landscapes Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) to you (“the Client”, “you”).

By requesting a quote, booking a service, or engaging us for work, you agree to these Terms.


2. Our Services

We provide landscaping and outdoor construction services, including but not limited to:

Garden design and installation

Paving, patios, and driveways

Fencing and decking

Pergolas and outdoor structures

Turfing and planting

All services will be outlined in your written quotation.


3. Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Quotes are based on the information provided at the time.

Any changes to scope, materials, or site conditions may result in revised pricing.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a quote before acceptance.


4. Booking & Deposits

A deposit (typically 25%–50%) is required to secure your booking.

Work will not be scheduled until the deposit is received.

The deposit is non-refundable once materials are ordered or scheduling is confirmed.


5. Payments

Payment terms will be outlined in your quotation or invoice.

Final payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise.

Late payments may result in:

Delayed project completion

Additional charges or interest

Suspension of work

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.


6. Variations & Additional Work

Any additional work requested outside the agreed scope will be treated as a variation.

Variations will be quoted separately and must be approved before work proceeds.

Additional costs may apply due to unforeseen site conditions (e.g. drainage issues, ground instability).


7. Project Timelines

Start dates and durations are estimates and may be affected by:

Weather conditions

Material availability

Site access issues

Changes requested by the client

We will always aim to communicate any delays promptly.


8. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

Provide accurate project information

Ensure clear and safe access to the site

Obtain any required permissions (e.g. planning permission, neighbour consent) unless agreed otherwise

Remove personal belongings from work areas

Provide access to utilities if required


9. Materials

Materials will be sourced based on availability and suitability.

Natural materials (e.g. stone, timber) may vary in colour, texture, and appearance.

We are not liable for natural variations or minor aesthetic differences.


10. Waste Removal

Waste removal is included only if specified in the quotation.

We aim to leave the site tidy, but full site clearance may be subject to additional cost if not agreed upfront.


11. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing.

Deposits may be retained to cover:

Administrative costs

Materials already purchased

Loss of scheduled time


12. Warranty & Workmanship

We provide a workmanship guarantee (typically 12 months, unless stated otherwise).

This does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Damage caused by misuse or lack of maintenance

Movement due to ground conditions or extreme weather

Manufacturer warranties apply separately to materials where applicable.


13. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential losses

Delays caused by factors beyond our control

Pre-existing site conditions

Our total liability shall not exceed the total value of the contract.


14. Health & Safety

We operate in accordance with UK health and safety standards.

Clients must ensure that children and pets are kept away from work areas during the project.


15. Photography & Marketing

We may take photographs of completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes.

No personal or identifying information will be shared without consent.

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Extreme weather

Supply chain disruptions

Labour shortages

Government restrictions


18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.


19. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
